This is a Kenyan variety evaluated by Tanzania Agricultural Research Organization. Suitable for altitude between 90-1800 m. Determinate type with plant  of 24 cm and maturing in 85-90 days. On maturity the pods are cream color with large seed size. It has good cook ability, palatable and yield about 1.2-1.5 tons per ha.

Suitable for an altitude between 900-1800 m, plants are determinate type about 50 cm tall and are slightly hairy. Seeds are larger than lyamungo 85 and deep mottled. it has good cook ability, palatable and yield about 1.2-1.5 per ha.

Recommended for medium to slightly high altidude  areas of 900-1700m, having medium to high rain fall. matures in 110-130 days with yieling potentiality of 45-65 bags per ha. suitable for processing  (pound ability), very sweet and palatable on roasting

Suitable for low and mild altitude  areas of  1-900 m, having medium rainfall. Tolerant to drought and humid conditions,  flint type grain and suitable for easy processing and matures in 110-130 day.

Exellent drought tolerant variety, suitable for low to medium altitude areas of  1-750m, flint type grains which can be easily processed, medium duration (90 days) variety yields 22-30 bags per ha.

A high yielding, early maturing, determinate variety resistant to Rust. Recommended for semi-arid areas where rainfall is below 250 mm per season, preferably at higher altitudes over 1000 m above sea level. Seeds are bold, round and deep yellow in colour. It matures very early, in 65 days.
